Hi everyone, I’m currently integrating the Speed API into my application and occasionally encounter rate limit errors when making multiple requests in a short time. Could someone explain the best practice for handling rate limiting with this API? Is there a recommended retry-after strategy or a specific header I should check to know when it’s safe to send the next request?
Handling Pending Lightning Payments
I’m testing the Speed API and would really like to hear from someone who’s worked with it in production. Specifically, how do you handle edge cases when a Lightning payment is initiated but not settled within the expected timeframe? I’ve noticed some test payments get stuck in a pending state, and I’m not sure whether to automatically expire those sessions or keep polling until the webhook confirms completion.
